  • Our location and Parking?

The Dock Shocker home port is located at 122 Gull Drive. There is parking available in front of the cleaning station with the Dock Shocker sign. Parking is limited so carpooling is much appreciated. For your convenience there is a Port-O- Potty and fresh ice at our location. 

  • What equipment is provided and used by Dock Shocker?

Our boats are fitted with Garmin electronics, outriggers, live wells, inshore/offshore rods, trolling rods and bottom rods by Penn, Diawa, Avet, and Shimano. Check each boats description on the charter booking page for additional services such as bathrooms and seating.

 

  • What kind of bait is used?

Our captains use live bait such as Menhaden, Pin Fish, Bluefish, Cigar Minnows as well as fresh cut bait, such as Squid, Mackerel, and Ballyhoo.

 

  • What's provided by Dock Shocker when you book?

North Carolina Fishing License: NC State Fishing Licenses are included for up to 6 people with your booking. Additionally, all rods and reels, tackle, ice, and bait are included. The Captain Cleans your fish for free!

 

  • Am I expected to tip?

We Strive to provide you with the best experience possible on your charter. Our mate works solely for tips, and we ask that you please consider a minimum of 15% of the charter cost show appreciation for their hard work and dedication. As a reminder, the harder the mate works and the better the service, the greater the tip-your generosity goes a long way in helping them deliver an exceptional experience. 

If there's anything about the trip that doesn't meet your expectations, please feel free to communicate directly with the Captain or Mate during the trip. We are here to make sure your adventure is unforgettable, and we welcome any feedback or concerns so we can make it right.

  • Do I need to bring anything with me?

For the best fishing experience we recommend you bring:

Please NO aerosol sunscreen as the spray damages the boat. Lotion sunscreen, hats, towels, a lightweight jacket with protect you from the sun even in cold weather. Close toed shoes and fishing gloves will protect you from each other. Please bring food, drinks, and snacks for everyone in your party.You are welcome to use our large on board coolers and ice during the trip. A hand cleaning sink and soap dispenser are located at the fish cleaning station.

 

  • What is the cancelation Policy?

Refunds will be given in cases of bad weather, boat maintenance, and at the Captain's discretion. Refunds can be given up to 14 days prior to the charter. Deposits can be used to reschedule for a future charter once inside 14 days of cancellation.
